Mari Kivi (b. 1984) is an animator and a director, who lives and works in Tallinn. She studied painting which led her to animation. She graduated from Estonian Academy of Arts with diploma films Food Chain and Contact (2018). She is one of the founders and the director of the International Animation Festival Animist Tallinn which takes place in August in Estonia. She has illustrated posters for music events, designed album covers and took part in group exhibitions. Currently she is working as an animator and a director.
