Kaspar Jancis (1975) is a composer, artist, screenwriter and a director. Already in childhood he was interested of making comic books and writing stories with illustrations. The first moving images appeared on the corner of the school books. In the 90-s Jancis started to focus more in music. Over the years he has performed in many music groups as instrumentalist, lyrics writer and a composer. First animations were made in Tallinn Pedagogical University. “Dr. Maisarve ja Matshalka juhtum” (1996) and “Väikese valge helikopteri lend” (1996). After that he went to to Turku Art and Media School in Finland to study animation´s under Priit Pärn´s guiding. A debut-film “Romanss” (1999) was made which has participated in several international filmfestivals.
