Riho Unt was born on May 15, 1956 in Estonia. He is a filmmaker, (graphic) artist and lecturer graduated from Estonian Academy of Arts (major in interior design) in 1982. He has been working in studios Tallinnfilm and Nukufilm, during the whole career he directed as author, director and art director string of successful animations, created number of stage design in different theaters and was related as art director to some feature films and enjoyed success as graphic artist and caricaturist. His animations have been awarded internationally very many times and had applauded theater runs in Estonia and worldwide. His lecturer career is related to universities in Estonia, Norway and Finland, tutoring film students and participating in international animation workshops and member of different film festivals jury on top of that.
